Light restrictions are county regulations to preserve the night sky. Electric is not on the property, and getting easements from neighbors' land is usually unproductive. A few people in that area will deliver you water, or you can buy water at the lodge. The Lodge is about 16 miles to the east on a paved county road for all but 3 miles. The main office, swimming pool, cabins, RV & Tent camping, "Bad Rabbit Cafe," and even a dirt strip for fly-in guests. The main office has a knowledgeable and friendly staff. They do not show properties or sell properties. The ranch sold out in the late '60s and early '70s. The ranch has a road fee of $210.26 for 2023 which helps to keep the road equipment up and to run.
